The Hellenic Institute for Occupational Health and Safety – ELINYAE is organizing the first Balkan Health and Safety Congress. The congress will be held in Thessaloniki, at Porto Palace Hotel, in March 4th 2024.
The aim of the Congress is to exchange information and aspects about the existing systems and prospects of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in the Balkan countries, as well as to promote collaboration and collective action in the wider area.
Representatives of these countries, from all involved parties in OSH, will discuss topics about common issues and challenges in the existing OSH systems of various Balkan countries, as well as the overall situation and prospects. Representatives of enterprises operating in various Balkan countries will present their experiences in OSH issues. Moreover, distinguished academics and scientists will highlight top priority OSH issues that provide opportunities for collaboration and collective action in the area.
The Congress is addressed to all those actively involved in management of OSH issues, as well as to everyone interested in challenges about the present and future of work in the Balkan countries.
